Smiley Face

Turns out I was wrong. Chase went to the Doctor today and he is 15 pounds, 24.5 inches long. This is the 95th percentile. This is something we have never experienced since Sophie wasn't even on the chart until age 2 1/2.

Chase had to visit a Cardiologist for a heart murmur. He had an Echo and everything is fine. Heart murmurs are common in infants-over 80% of them go away by age 1. We weren't concerned because the signs of a serious problem are poor growth & feeding habits. Clearly Chase was not showing any of these signs.

Sophie is practicing for the Spring concert at school. She is going to be dressed as a Bumble Bee and will be singing "I'm Bringing home a Baby Bumble Bee." We get to hear her practice it every night. Pictures to come in April. Sophie will also be starting soccer this month. She wants to get a soccer trophy like Daddy's. Don't be fooled by the winter coats in this picture. This was taken in December. It's warm now.

So much for the 5 drops of rain we got here in Peoria yesterday. Fortunately Chase and I were out on a walk and got to feel every one of them. We are now 133 days without rain. The dry spell is the longest in history.
