With only 1 day to spare, Sophie got a baby brother in 2005. Sophie wanted to buy him roller skates right away. She became disappointed to discover that he can't skate.
Sophie's Xmas
Sophie didn't have a white Christmas, she had a "Dora" Christmas.
She got Dancing Dora, Princess Dora, Dress-up Dora ... even "Disco" Dora.
Well, there isn't a "Disco" Dora, at least not yet.
Sophie also had a great time decorating the tree this year. At one point, she turned to us all and said, "this is going to be the best Christmas ever."
It was a good one, especially with Chase arriving a few days later.
Sophie ran into Santa four different times this season. He was at the mall, her Christmas pageant, wandering around Target, and at the local Albertsons.

Sophie portrayed a very convincing Rudolf in her pre-school's Christmas pageant. Sophie is up front because she is not shy, nor afraid to belt out Christmas songs. In fact, she had to be restrained a few times from grabbing the mic off of the stand and doing a solo act.
Thanksgiving
Once again, Sophie could not let a holiday pass without commemorating it by dressing up.
This Thanksgiving, Sophie dressed up as Pocahontas at her school.
Halloween
Sophie was Tinkerbell for Halloween and pulled it off quite nicely.
She's still learning how the whole trick or treat gig works. She often times would just walk right into people's homes and practically head for their fridge.

I remember decorating the tree with Sophie-oh so helpful she is! She is going to be a great sister for Chase-he's a lucky little guy. Oh yeah, and that Tinkerbell outfit suits her just great!
